We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 1 Year Old Class Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early literacy, motor skills, social-emotional development, and basic cognitive abilities for one-year-olds.
- Create a safe, engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence while adhering to safety standards.
- Provide attentive toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with compassion.
- Manage classroom routines effectively, including scheduling activities, transitions, and rest periods to support young children's routines. Story-time, crafts and music.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through clear and positive updates.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, especially with toddlers aged one year old.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood education best practices, and preschool curriculum development.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff.
- Classroom management skills to create an organized environment conducive to learning and growth
- Must pass background check
