NHC HealthCare Anniston is seeking a dependable Housekeeping/Laundry team member. This position supports both environmental cleanliness and linen services, helping create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for patients, residents, families, visitors, and partners.
- Clean and sanitize patient and resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash, and complete other routine housekeeping duties.
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing.
- Maintain proper separation of clean and soiled laundry.
- Operate housekeeping and laundry equipment safely.
- Restock supplies and help maintain clean, organized work areas.
- Follow infection control, sanitation, safety, and NHC procedures.
- Report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns to the appropriate leader.
- Dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow housekeeping, laundry, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
- Previous housekeeping, laundry, or health care experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
