Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Caregiver with over five years of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience, specializing in dementia and memory care. Duties
- Deliver personalized assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor vital signs regularly to ensure residents’ health stability and report any irregularities promptly
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and maintain detailed medication records
- Provide specialized dementia and memory care by implementing behavioral management strategies and engaging residents in meaningful activities
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition tailored to individual dietary needs
- Support residents’ social engagement by facilitating social work activities and encouraging participation in community events
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control protocols are followed
- Document all care activities thoroughly in compliance with facility policies and state regulations
- Drive residents when needed for appointments or outings while adhering to safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years CNA experience with a strong background in dementia, Alzheimer's care, and long-term resident support
- Proven expertise in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home & community care settings
- Knowledge of vital signs measurement, medication administration, behavior management techniques, and emergency response procedures such as first aid
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized support
- Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation of resident care activities
- Ability to operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts safely and effectively
- Valid driver’s license preferred for driving responsibilities; must adhere to safety regulations at all times

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
