Assistant Retail Store Director, Hester & Cook Nashville Retail Stores
Reports To: Nashville Retail Stores Director; Works closely with Merchandising team
Overview:
This position’s main objective is to assist the Retail Stores Director in creating a cohesive direction for the retail stores and helping align the entire stores’ team to reflect the core values of H&C.
Responsibilities: H&C inventory
Working closely with Retail Stores Director and the Merchandising team to implement merchandising plans
Taking store deposits; making sure cash bags are accurate
Maintaining retail store organization
Working with Retail Stores Director and Store Leads on monthly schedule
Onboarding store associates and training best practices
Assisting in growing all stores, with an emphasis on the Franklin store
Seasonal visual merchandising planning & store sets
Assisting with staffing/supporting Store Events. Examples include Art Walk (Franklin), Brush Lettering Classes, and other store pop-ups.
Keeping management updated on overall inventory concerns and successes, as well as customer feedback
Assisting in facilitating corporate directives and execution of store promotions set out by CMO
Assisting Retail Stores Director in conducting store and/or team meetings on a regular basis
Expectations:
Working in the stores 4 days a week alongside Store Leads and other key team members as needed. (This could be seasonally impacted.)
Checking-in with Retail Store Director for a weekly one-to-one
Keeping track of store budgets and supporting achievement of revenue goals
