Preschool Teacher's Assistant
Requirements:
- Ability to work with very small children
- Understanding that this is not daycare, but an educational setting
- Safe environment training, Background Check
- Possess good energy, creativity and personal qualities necessary to care for and work with children, both inside and outside
- Ability to assist young children who may not yet be toilet trained
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Pleasant personality to be able to relate well both to children and to other staff members
- Be present for 8-hour shift daily (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
- English proficiency
Responsibilities:
- Work with the lead teacher as a team
- Maintain open communication with the other team teacher
- Assist the lead teacher in the preparation of weekly lesson plans and special activities during the year
Job Types: Contract, Full-time
Pay: $18.50 per hour
