Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Electrician to oversee electrical installation, maintenance, and repair projects across many different new builds and remodels. As a key leader on our team, you will coordinate electrical work, ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes, and mentor junior electricians. Your expertise in Electrical systems will drive successful project execution while maintaining high-quality standards. Duties
- Lead and supervise electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair activities on construction sites and renovation projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise electrical work aligned with project specifications.
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues accurately.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, including proper handling of power tools and adherence to construction site safety regulations.
- Mentor junior electricians by providing guidance on schematics reading and best practices in electrical installation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a residential electrician or commercial electrician with a strong background in construction site environments.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with prior experience leading electrical teams or projects as a lead electrician.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
- Deep understanding of the NEC.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment essential for electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of high voltage systems, renovation projects, framing carpentry basics, and schematic interpretation is highly desirable.
- Ability to work safely on construction sites while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
