Location: Culpeper, Virginia
Interview location: In person in Culpeper, Virginia
Position type: Part-time contract opportunity
We are seeking a confident, engaging, and visually expressive on-camera content creator to appear in short-form social-media videos and reels.
This is a highly visual, public-facing role. The selected creator will regularly appear in both close-up and full-body content and must be comfortable speaking, standing, walking, turning, and demonstrating natural movement and body language on camera.
The content will be designed primarily to connect with women in their 20s and 30s. The visual style should feel current, casual, relatable, energetic, and appropriate for mainstream Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok content. This is not a traditional corporate or business-casual spokesperson position.
Responsibilities
- Appear as the primary on-camera creator in short-form videos and reels
- Present prepared ideas naturally and conversationally
- Record both close-up and full-body content
- Use confident posture, facial expressions, movement, and body language
- Wear casual, trend-aware outfits selected or approved for recording
- Follow creative direction and complete additional takes when needed
- Help create content that feels current, relatable, and visually engaging
- Edit reels or coordinate with an editor, depending on experience
Qualifications
- Strong, natural on-camera presence
- Comfortable appearing in full-body video
- Clear and expressive communication
- Confidence receiving wardrobe and performance direction
- Familiarity with current short-form social-media content
- Dependability and willingness to receive direct feedback
- Previous on-camera, modeling, acting, advertising, or social-media experience is helpful but not required
Application Process
Please apply directly through Indeed with:
- Your résumé or a brief description of your relevant experience
- Links to previous reels, videos, advertisements, modeling work, or other public-facing content, when available
- Your general availability
- Your requested hourly, weekly, or per-video rate
Applicants selected to continue will be invited to complete a brief, structured video audition before the in-person interview.
Video Audition
The audition video may be recorded independently and submitted electronically. It should be one continuous vertical video lasting approximately 60–90 seconds.
The video must:
- Be recorded within the past 14 days
- Show your entire body clearly from head to toe
- Begin with you facing the camera
- Include a slow turn showing your left side, back, and right side
- Show you walking naturally toward and away from the camera
- Include you delivering a short sample reel while facing the camera
- Be recorded in a quiet, well-lit location
- Be recorded without beauty filters, body filters, virtual backgrounds, or digital appearance alterations
Audition Wardrobe
The intended visual style is current, casual, and appropriate for mainstream lifestyle-oriented social-media content.
Jeans are preferred, paired with a simple camisole-style or thin-strap top suitable for a public social-media reel. Applicants may choose a comparable casual outfit that provides the same clear view of posture, movement, and full-body camera presence.
Please avoid:
- Jackets, cardigans, or oversized layers that obscure posture and movement
- Large logos or prominent graphics
- Highly distracting patterns
- Formal business or office clothing
- Clothing that restricts natural movement
The audition will be evaluated based on camera presence, communication, movement, posture, body language, personal presentation, ability to follow creative direction, and compatibility with the visual style of the content.
Audition videos will be used only for evaluating applicants. They will not be published, posted, or used in promotional materials without a separate written agreement.
In-Person Interview Requirement
Applicants who advance beyond the video-audition stage must attend an in-person interview in Culpeper, Virginia.
The audition video is submitted remotely, but the final interview is not remote. Please apply only if you are willing and able to travel to Culpeper for an in-person interview.
The specific interview location, date, and time will be arranged directly with selected finalists.
