Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Coffee Equipment Technician to join our dynamic field service team. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of coffee brewing and related equipment. Your mechanical aptitude, and customer service skills will drive satisfaction and ensure our clients' coffee operations run smoothly.
Duties
- Install new coffee machines and related equipment at client locations following technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative inspections to keep equipment operating at peak performance
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical components using schematics and diagnostic tools along with tech help lines
- Repair or replace faulty parts such as pumps and valves to restore equipment functionality
- Conduct delivery of equipment using a box truck or similar vehicle, ensuring safe handling during transport and setup
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction after service visits
Qualifications
- Experience in appliance repair, electrical work, or mechanical troubleshooting within a field service environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical manuals
- Basic plumbing skills are preferred but not required
- Previous delivery driver experience using a box truck is preferred
- Skilled in assembly, equipment repair, and electrical troubleshooting techniques
- Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently in various locations
- A current driver license and clean driving record are required.
