Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Pattern Maker / Template Specialist to support our Product Development team. This role focuses on creating and maintaining match-striped templates used in both hand-cut and CNC cutting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain accurate pattern templates for new product development and production
- Update templates based on engineering changes and remove obsolete patterns
- Organize, track, and maintain template inventory for easy access
- Support production teams by troubleshooting pattern-related issues
- Assist with CAD pattern creation and CNC cutting integration
- Work within company systems (ERP) for tracking and documentation
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read measurements and follow technical instructions
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook/Teams)
- Hands-on comfort in a manufacturing or shop environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Experience with CNC cutting or automated manufacturing
- Familiarity with CAD software (OptiTex, Gerber, AutoCAD, etc.)
- ERP system experience (NetSuite or similar)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and handle pattern materials
- Strong visual attention to detail
