Cayuga Counseling Services, Inc. seeks a Full-time Children's Skill Builder. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around creating and implementing age-appropriate skill-building interventions designed to enhance the cognitive, social and emotional development of children. Job Responsibilities:

Receive referrals from the program director and Identify client/family recommended for services.

Provide rehabilitative services identified on the treatment plan which may include social and interpersonal skills, daily living skills and community integration.

Participate in weekly multidisciplinary team meeting with the focus of providing an integrative approach to treatment.

Provide and support the implementation of group services.

Provide personalized assistance to children based on their unique learning needs and abilities, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Facilitate the integration of children into their family and community settings, promoting active and productive participation with the aim of minimizing the need for ongoing professional intervention.

Provide services in various community settings encompassing the places where they child or youth resides, works, goes to school.

Deliver services with a trauma informed approach, ensuring cultural and linguistic competence throughout the process.
- Ensures timely completion of all documentation.

Performs other duties as required by Program Director.
Qualifications:

Must have High School Diploma or a State Education Commencement Credential with a minimum of 3 years' experience working in children's mental health, addiction and/ or foster care.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, social work or in a human services field is preferred.

Must pass all required background checks.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must have a Valid NYS driver's license
The Agency offers:

3 weeks PTO in your first year, 4 weeks in your second year
