Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by water, fire, mold, and asbestos damage. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work effectively in various environments, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients. As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for executing restoration projects from start to finish while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of damaged properties to determine the extent of restoration needed.
- Perform water damage restoration tasks including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
- Execute mold remediation processes safely and effectively.
- Carry out fire restoration work including soot removal and smoke damage repair.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various restoration tasks.
- Clean carpets and other surfaces as part of the restoration process.
- Manage asbestos abatement projects in accordance with safety regulations.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in restoration services is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with mold remediation techniques and water damage restoration processes is a plus.
- Experience with fire restoration methods is beneficial.
- Knowledge of asbestos abatement procedures is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.72 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
