Nurse Practitioner – Direct Primary Care Provider
DPC Plus – Slidell, LA
Full-Time | W-2 | Established Patient Panel
About DPC Plus
DPC Plus is a growing Direct Primary Care organization built to make healthcare more personal, practical, and relationship-based.
We are not a traditional high-volume clinic. Our providers are not expected to see 25–35 patients per day, fight insurance companies, or rush through visits just to meet production numbers. Instead, our model is built around access, continuity, trust, and long-term relationships between patients and their provider.
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our Slidell clinic and step into an established patient panel.
About the Role
This is a full-time provider role for someone who enjoys relationship-based care, clinical independence, and being part of a team that is building a better healthcare model.
The current Slidell panel is approximately 393 active patients, with a provider panel cap of 800 patients. The provider will manage a mixed panel that includes primary care, urgent care, chronic disease management, wellness, medication management, patient education, and patient messaging.
This role is ideal for a provider who wants to know their patients, spend more time solving problems, and practice in a model that gives patients direct access to care without the interference of insurance-based medicine.
Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
Managing an established panel of DPC Plus patients
Providing primary care, urgent care, wellness visits, and chronic disease management
Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
Ordering and interpreting labs, EKGs, imaging, and other diagnostic testing when appropriate
Managing medications and treatment plans
Providing patient education and preventive care guidance
Responding to patient messages and helping maintain high-touch access
Performing common in-office procedures, such as injections, EKGs, ear lavage, wound care, suture/staple removal, simple sutures/staples, splinting, and incision and drainage when appropriate
Collaborating with other providers, clinical staff, and leadership
Following company workflows, clinical standards, and documentation expectations
Participating in occasional compensated after-hours call for assigned panel patients
Compensation
Compensation is panel-based and designed to grow with the provider’s patient panel.
The current Slidell panel size places this role at approximately:
$55/hour starting compensation
The next compensation tier begins at 400 active paid members.
There may also be future opportunities for additional income through service lines, leadership opportunities, profit-sharing, and stock-like participation once qualified.
Schedule
Full-time position
In-office role based in Slidell, Louisiana
Consistent availability is important due to the relationship-based nature of the model
