Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support environmental projects by conducting field sampling, data collection, and research to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. You will assist in preparing technical reports, managing project documentation, and contributing to environmental permitting processes. Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental field data collection across diverse sites.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, summaries, and documentation using clear technical writing skills.
- Support permitting phases by gathering necessary data and assisting with permit applications in compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
- Utilize GIS software such as ArcGIS for mapping, spatial analysis, and project visualization.
- Perform research on environmental laws, regulations, and best practices to inform project strategies.
- Participate in environmental compliance assessments and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining safety standards such as OSHA guidelines.
- Engage in outdoor work activities including site inspections, sampling campaigns, and environmental monitoring efforts.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to relay findings and support project objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; relevant internship or practical experience is highly valued.
- Strong technical writing skills for report preparation and documentation.
- Proficiency with GIS software such as ArcGIS and familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred.
- Knowledge of environmental law, regulatory compliance standards (EPA regulations), and permitting processes.
- Experience practicing in an environmental science role or related internship experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform outdoor work safely while adhering to OSHA standards; outdoor work experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Understanding of water treatment processes, wastewater treatment systems, or oil & gas industry practices is beneficial.
- Mechanical knowledge or laboratory experience related to environmental testing enhances your candidacy.
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
