Initially, this role will focus on a structured 90-day operational takeover and alignment period. Moving forward, the role functions as a permanent executive leadership position focused on firm profitability, standardizing workflow optimization, enforcing team key performance indicators (KPIs), and executing new client growth strategies.
As a bilingual practice with a large percentage of Spanish-only speaking clients, fluent verbal and written proficiency in both English and Spanish is a strict requirement for this role.

- Permanent Base Salary
- Growth & Retention Bonus Program :
- Quarterly Retention Bonus: 15% of all gross firm revenue collected above a baseline per quarter.
- Monthly New Business Accelerator: 15% of the monthly recurring revenue (MRR) collected from any brand-new client contracts closed or onboarded by the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:

- Performance Oversight: Monitor and optimize individual team metrics, specifically focusing on KPI's, uncategorized transaction aging, and client response turnaround times.
Phase 2: Strategic Scaling & Business Acceleration
- Account Optimization: Proactively review the firm's 20 "as-needed" accounts and strategically transition eligible clients into predictable, fixed-fee monthly bookkeeping and compliance subscriptions.
- Operational Scaling: Free up the business owner to focus on expansion by continuously auditing software workflows (QuickBooks Online, TaxWise/Drake Tax) to maximize staff capacity and firm profitability.
- Client Growth & Onboarding: Leverage bilingual marketing initiatives and local DFW networking to close and onboard new monthly recurring revenue (MRR) accounts, driving the New Business Accelerator bonus.
- Process Optimization: Refine and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reduce time-to-close metrics across all client accounts.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor quarterly firm billing to safeguard and exceed the gross quarterly baseline revenue.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Credentials: Accounting Degree or Enrolled Agent (EA) license preferred, or equivalent senior-level public accounting experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, with a strong background in small business accounting, corporate formations (S-Corps/LLCs), payroll compliance, and Texas state tax regulations.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced, hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks Online and professional tax software (Drake Tax or TaxWise preferred). Strong familiarity with Texas state compliance systems (SOSDirect, Comptroller).
- Language Skills (REQUIRED): Must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to confidently conduct advisory meetings, handle complex client escalations, and review financial documents in both languages. Candidates who are not fully bilingual will not be considered.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing a production team, tracking staff utilization/capacity, and conducting final technical reviews.
