Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher with SAT/SHSAT expertise to join our team and provide educational support to students. The ideal candidate will have experience in English language instruction and standardized test preparation, and possess strong classroom management skills.
Duties
- Educate and assist students in English language learning and comprehension
- Prepare students for the SAT and SHSAT exams, with a focus on the English/Verbal sections
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Utilize learning technology to enhance teaching methods
- Collaborate with students to support their learning needs
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively
Experience
- Prior experience working with students in an educational setting
- Experience teaching or tutoring for the SAT and/or SHSAT preferred
- Proficiency in curriculum development and classroom instruction
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
