We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support engineering leadership teams on new commercial nuclear reactor projects. This role will coordinate engineering activities, project documentation, meetings, follow-up actions, and communication with internal and external engineering partners.
Responsibilities
- Support engineering managers in planning, coordinating, and executing projects from initiation through completion.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate technical activities and tasks supporting engineering deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, meeting notes, presentations, procedures, and status updates.
- Plan and coordinate engineering meetings, including agendas, action items, follow-up, and closeout.
- Track project progress and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Coordinate communication between engineering teams, project stakeholders, contributors, and external partners.
- Assist with identifying project issues and developing mitigation and resolution strategies.
- Maintain organized digital and physical project files.
- Support technical information-sharing processes and contribute to process improvements using Lean principles.
- Ensure adherence to nuclear safety, quality, compliance, and intellectual property requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a business environment.
- Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; familiarity with Adobe software for creating/modifying PDF files.
- Experience with project management tools and software.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Experience
- Technical writing in a business environment, quality assurance, engineering, or computer technology.
- Experience developing presentations using technical information and resources.
- Experience coordinating between geographically distributed organizations.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, dependable, and detail-oriented with a solutions-focused approach.
Pay: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour
