Outpost Brands is seeking a high-energy, results-driven, Production Supervisor who has experience in a similar industry. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, with a hands-on “roll up sleeves” mindset. One who will ensure operational performance through efficient and effective use of the plant and people resources. Also, will handle cGMP documentation, equipment operations and cleaning.
Production Supervisor responsibilities:
- Perform/Assist in the process of cooking, dosing, depositing, and post-processing of products.
- Ensure all documentation including batch records, logbooks, and other official batch related documentation has been completed on-time, and accurately.
- Examine and evaluate the product to determine consistent quality in texture, shape, color and flavor.
- Monitor and control process parameters, assuring that all variables are within specification set ranges.
- Responsible for large-scale manufacturing batches of gummy products and/or other nutraceutical products.
- Perform quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Keep account of all inventories to ensure all raw ingredients are available for use.
- Feed and maintain raw ingredients into hoppers, mix tanks, or other manufacturing equipment.
- Perform pre-weighing, batching, curing, and bulk packaging of manufactured products.
- Support all assigned personnel. Assure that assignments are completed within schedules and according to SOPs and cGMPs.
- Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and housekeeping organization.
- Follows established department SOP's, cGMP regulations, and batch record instructions.
- Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner.
- Perform other job duties related to the job, as assigned by management.
- Improve of production, health and safety standards ensuring the site meets company and government regulations.
- Optimize and implement the objectives, goals, strategies and measures, creating a continuously improvements environment in order to achieve production targets.
- Manage, lead and motivate multiple skilled operators ensuring full engagement of team members.
- Ensure daily operations are carried out in compliance with all company requirements, appropriate safety, food safety, quality and environment standards.
- Ensure timely completion of all corrective and preventive actions.
- Allocate the required resource for each operation meeting customer’s orders.
- Drive, manage and sustain operational excellence and a continuous improvement to delivery challenging and set change improvements.
- Continuously improve productivity of manufacturing resources through daily monitoring of resources performance and production losses.
- Review of the production line at the beginning of the production
- Coordinate and complete weekly work schedules
- Responsible for completing absentee slips, accident reports and issuing attendance disciplinary warnings per the Absenteeism & Tardiness Policy
- Other duties as assigned.
Production Supervisor Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual a plus

- Ability to problem solve and analyze line operations with minimal guidance
- Able to work a flexible work schedule to meet the demands of 24 hour a day operation including nights, weekends and holidays
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office application
- Sound judgement, decision making, and problem solving skills
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
- Must be able to read, write, and converse in the English language. Bilingual preferred.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years Supervisory experience working in a food manufacturing facility
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Physical ability to stand/ walk for much of the work shift, and push/pull/lift large containers weighing up to 50 pounds
- Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
- Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
- Flexible work schedule as the business demands
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
