We are looking for Servers and Bartenders at Hideaway Country Club. Servers for part- time seasonal positions. We have a full calendar of events, and our Servers are a crucial part of making these events memorable for our members and guests!
Compensation: Paid a base hourly rate plus a share of gratuity. Total compensation typically is between $20-$30/hr.
Hours: Must commit to working shifts that include days, nights, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
Responsibilities: Responsible for providing food and beverage service to club members and guests.
Skills and Attributes:
- Set-up workstations and perform assigned side work.
- Provide immediate attention to all members and guests upon entering dining room.
- Regularly use members' names.
- Answer any questions in relation to menus, specials, wines or cocktails.
- Take members' and guests' orders; suggestively sell food/beverage items and place orders in Jonas POS system in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all charges to member accounts are accurate and complete.
- Place orders with kitchen, inform cooks of any special cooking instructions or allergies.
- Continuously check back to ensure member and guest satisfaction.
- Verify the accuracy of charges and presents bill.
- Keep tables, dining rooms and workstation areas clean.
- Advise supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
- Perform clean-up, closing, and banquet set-up as assigned by manager.
- Attend pre-shift and staff meetings as requested by manager.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Required to stand and walk for long periods, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach. Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to carry and balance a tray. Continuous repetitive motions. Work in an indoor/outdoor, noisy and fast past environment.
