Are you a motivated, team-oriented & reliable Orthodontic Dental Assistant looking for a place to grow, feel valued, and make an impact each day? We’re seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our practice and contribute to an exceptional patient experience!
Schedule: 1 Day a week (Tuesdays)
Monday: 8AM-5PM
Tuesday: 7:15AM-5PM
Wednesday: 7:15AM-5PM
Thursday: 7:15AM-5PM

As a key member of our team, you will help support smooth, efficient, and comfortable patient care by:
Prepare patients and treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures
Assist the orthodontist chairside during bracket placements, wire changes, impressions, and other clinical tasks
Take orthodontic records, including digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and impressions or scans
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and appliance care
Track treatment progress and update charts in the dental software system
Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
Support scheduling efficiency by monitoring patient flow and confirming upcoming appointments
Communicate effectively with the orthodontist, front office, and other team members
Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
Provide exceptional service and reinforce Squire Dental’s patient-first philosophy
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a dental assisting program or relevant orthodontic assistant training
Current CPR/BLS certification
State-specific dental assistant or orthodontic assistant certification (as applicable)
Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
Preferred:
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and assist with clinical care for extended periods
Manual dexterity to work with orthodontic instruments and appliances
Exposure to bodily fluids, sterilization chemicals, and dental materials
Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required
