Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Alumni Coordinator to support and engage our growing alumni community. This individual will play a key role in fostering ongoing relationships with former clients, promoting sustained recovery, and strengthening our alumni network.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in a similar role within the behavioral health field and brings a strong understanding of the SUD and mental health populations, along with exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate, and manage alumni programs and events (virtual and in-person)
- Maintain consistent communication with alumni through calls, texts, emails, and social media platforms
- Build meaningful relationships with former clients to encourage ongoing engagement and recovery support
- Plan and facilitate alumni meetings, support groups, and community-building activities
- Track alumni engagement and maintain accurate records in CRM or database systems
- Collaborate with clinical, admissions, and marketing teams to enhance alumni initiatives
- Identify opportunities to expand alumni programming and improve participation
- Provide ongoing support, encouragement, and resources to alumni as needed
- Ensure all alumni communications align with company values and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Alumni Coordinator in the behavioral health industry required
- Strong understanding of substance use disorders and mental health populations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- High level of compassion, empathy, and emotional intelligence
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience planning events or community engagement initiatives preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in detox, residential, PHP, or IOP settings
- Background in recovery support or peer engagement programs
- Knowledge of HIPAA and behavioral health compliance standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
