We are looking for experienced servers to join our awesome Uptown Marysville team full time in providing exceptional service to our customers. The right person for this role will have high volume serving experience, be passionate about people having a great experience dining out, and be ready for a fast-paced, full-service, team-oriented environment and be able to work FULL-TIME.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full-time role, flexible to work Tuesday-Sunday, rotating early and late shifts, rotating weekends.
- Greet guests promptly and in a professional manner.
- Guide guests through all phases of their dining experience.
- Maintain expert knowledge of our menu and offerings.
- Practice up-selling and suggestive selling when taking orders.
- Manage groups efficiently through attentive service and precise order taking.
- Demonstrate proper service techniques and delivery of food and beverages.
- Oversee table maintenance and coordination of service with fellow team members.
- Input accurate orders in the Toast POS system according to Company procedures. Past experience with Toast is preferred.
- Support organization, cleanliness, and safety of the entire space.
- Appropriately communicate with management and other service staff regarding guest needs or incidents.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience as a server in an full-service restaurant.
- Knowledge of craft beer and cocktails is a plus.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including, walking, standing, and/or lifting heavy items for extended periods of time.
- Available to work a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Ability to follow proper cleanliness and hygiene procedures.
- Must work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- All other duties assigned by the management team.
Qualifications:
- 3+ Years experience as a high volume server
- Be able to be at work on time and ready to jump right in.
- Be able to communicate and understand the English language.
- Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
- Ready and willing to be part of a team-based environment by helping with cleanliness of the dining room, running food, doing side work, and helping out wherever is needed.
- Possess basic math skills and can handle money and operate a Toast point-of-sale system.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
- Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.

Our servers average $22-32/hour with tips.
