Duties
- Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry
- Apply advanced techniques such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and dermabrasion to enhance client satisfaction
- Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Educate clients on nail care routines, product benefits, and aftercare to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Upsell retail products like nail polishes, skincare items, and beauty tools to maximize sales opportunities
- Stay current on beauty industry trends such as esthetic laser treatments and hair styling to offer innovative services
- Build strong communication skills to understand client needs and deliver personalized recommendations that boost retail sales
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the broader beauty industry with a focus on nail care
- Knowledge of color theory, nail art techniques, and current beauty trends including eyelash extensions and hair extensions
- Familiarity with sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and safety protocols within a salon environment
- Experience with retail sales strategies such as upselling and retail math to increase revenue
- Background in additional services like body waxing, hair styling, barbering, or esthetic laser treatments is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to engage clients effectively and provide excellent customer service
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced salon or spa setting demonstrating adaptability and professionalism
