Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable Automotive Quick Lane Technician to become part of our service department at a dealership located in Mission, TX. In this role, you will handle standard vehicle maintenance, conduct thorough inspections, and execute fundamental repairs to ensure our clients receive top-tier service.
Compensation and Availability
This position offers a pay rate of $12.00 per hour. The work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must be prepared to work a rotating schedule that includes both opening and closing shifts.
Core Duties

Execute oil changes and filter replacements in strict adherence to manufacturer guidelines

Support the team by rotating, examining, and swapping out tires when necessary

Ensure optimal vehicle performance by inspecting and installing new engine and cabin air filters

Monitor and top off essential vehicle fluids such as oil, coolant, transmission fluid, and washer solvent

Conduct comprehensive multi-point inspections to help improve vehicle safety and longevity for our customers

Examine critical components like brakes, belts, batteries, wipers, and lighting systems

Provide support to senior technicians by assisting with various automotive service tasks

Keep your workspace and shop equipment organized and in good working order

Collaborate effectively with your colleagues to ensure we reach our service and productivity targets
Required Skills and Experience

Prior background in a dealership, oil change facility, or general automotive repair setting

Fundamental understanding of standard vehicle maintenance and repair techniques

Competence in the safe operation of various automotive tools and machinery

A strong sense of reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to excellent customer service

Physical stamina to remain standing, bending, and lifting throughout your entire shift
