Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and the ability to work on both residential and commercial projects. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards. You should be comfortable working in diverse environments, including construction sites, and possess a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Renovate and restore surfaces by applying plaster or stucco as needed.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks to enhance the finished appearance of painted areas.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; utilize hand tools effectively.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements
- Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials.
- Experience with drywall installation and repair is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
