Truck Driver-Mixer Truck
Duties:
- Operate heavy equipment, including tandem trucks, mixer trucks and other vehicles as needed.
- Safely load and unload materials and equipment onto trucks.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Communicate with dispatchers and supervisors regarding any issues or delays during deliveries.
Experience:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B, with a clean/safe driving record.
- Minimum of 1-year experience operating tandem trucks and/or Ready Mix truck .
- Familiarity with local roads and routes to ensure efficient delivery.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload materials as required.
- Maintain an active DOT qualification and a DOT Physical.
- Able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check.
- Required random testing
- Ability to climb stairs, climb ladders, reach, squat, tolerate prolonged standing/walking, balance, bend from trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects
- Must be able to work early mornings Monday thru Saturday.
