Administrative Specialist, Customer Support
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm

Position Summary
Cordier Auctions is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support. This position serves as the first point of contact for buyers, sellers, and visitors while assisting with scheduling, office operations, and general administrative tasks. We are a growing auction company where you'll play an important role in supporting clients, staff, and daily business operations.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet visitors.
- Provide customer service and support to buyers and sellers.
- Coordinate consignor drop-off appointments, pickup appointments, and buyer pickup scheduling.
- Prepare and maintain client contracts, files, and records.
- Assist with appraisal report preparation and processing.
- Enter customer and business data into company software systems.
- Coordinate with the company's IT provider and assist with office technology needs.
- Manage employee security access codes and assist with administration of the company phone system.
- Order office and operational supplies as needed.
- Retrieve and distribute mail and assist with general office administration.
- Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
