Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shift Manager/Cashier to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
- Manage cash handling procedures accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Supervise team members, including training new staff, providing ongoing coaching, and fostering a positive work environment
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with food production, and control stock to minimize waste and maximize profitability
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a friendly atmosphere
- Assist in managing restaurant workflows during busy periods, including coordinating kitchen and front-of-house activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food preparation skills
- Demonstrated supervisory or management experience in hospitality or food service management roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling and sales processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, and food handling procedures
- Excellent team leadership skills with experience in staff training and development
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
- Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service and food quality
