Sonic, America’s Drive-In is one of the largest and most successful chain of quick-service drive-in restaurants and is looking for an Assistant Manager for the Buffalo area. Sonic's unique service delivery system provides personalized carhop service that's fast and convenient along with dine in experience. As an Assistant Manager, your duties include:
- Ensures customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality food, courteous employees and quick response to needs. Individual must be comfortable with addressing and resolving complaints in a professional manner.
- Assists drive-in management in implementing the restaurant plan in order to meet established operating standards, sales and profits.
- Assists in training and motivating crew members and performing the work functions in the Seven Basic Stations as needed.
- Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees as needed to ensure all aspects of food service meet operational standards
- Individual will work with management in a manner that helps control costs and assists in managing daily operations.
- Ability to work flexible schedule for the needs of the business and to perform open / closing duties
- Strong Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead team members
- Coachable mindset with the ability to perform well under fast paced and sometimes chaotic business.
- Individual must be a Team Player willing to meet and exceed drive – in goals and objectives, open communication, cleanliness and safety
- Candidates must have a passion to win as a team and to deliver on company and brand initiatives.
Candidate must have a valid drivers license. Minimum 3-years experience as a restaurant manager or similar experience required. Sonic is locally owned and operated. We will provide a fun and flexible work environment. .
