Position Summary
The Stabilization Director provides leadership, oversight, and execution of Selah Life Choices' emergency stabilization home for adult women exiting sex trafficking. This position is responsible for the overall operation of the residential program, including resident case management, staff leadership, crisis response, operational excellence, compliance, and implementation of Selah's Christ-centered stabilization model.
Working under the direction of Executive Leadership, the Stabilization Director ensures residents receive compassionate, structured, trauma-informed care while maintaining a safe, emotionally healthy, and professionally managed environment.
This role requires a mature, emotionally healthy leader who demonstrates exceptional judgment, resilience, healthy boundaries, humility, and the ability to remain calm and decisive during crisis.
Essential Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Development
- Provide daily leadership and oversight of the emergency stabilization home.
- Onboard, coach, supervise, and evaluate Direct Care Advocates.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and servant leadership.
- Provide regular coaching, performance feedback, and staff development.
- Assist Executive Leadership with hiring decisions and staff performance management.
Resident Care & Case Management
- Oversee all resident admissions and screening.
- Complete assessments and individualized stabilization plans.
- Provide ongoing case management and resident support.
- Coordinate medical, counseling, legal, employment, housing, and community services.
- Develop resident goals and monitor progress toward stabilization.
- Lead transition planning and discharge coordination.
- Respond appropriately during resident crises utilizing trauma-informed de-escalation techniques.
Operations
- Maintain daily house operations and operational excellence.
- Oversee medication administration systems and documentation is up to date.
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies and documentation standards.
- Ensure resident files and case documentation remain accurate and current.
- Collaborate with the Ministry Administrative Coordinator regarding scheduling, purchasing, reporting, volunteer coordination, and administrative support.
Leadership Collaboration
- Participate in weekly Executive Leadership meetings.
- Assist in program development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership regarding resident care decisions, policy implementation, and operational planning.
- Build positive relationships with referral partners, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community organizations.

Preferred Qualifications
Leadership experience in residential care, crisis response, classroom managment, behavioral health, ministry, education, healthcare, emergency services, military leadership, nonprofit leadership, or human services preferred.
Equivalent leadership experience demonstrating exceptional character and competency will be considered.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time salaried leadership position requiring flexibility to meet the needs of a 24/7 emergency stabilization ministry.
The Stabilization Director participates in rotating holiday coverage, emergency response, and occasional evening or weekend responsibilities.
