St. Elizabeth Seton Preschool is looking for faithful adults with joyful hearts, plenty of patience, and a love for little learners to join our Catholic school family as Preschool Assistants! In this role, you’ll help nurture children academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually in a faith-filled environment where every child is known and loved.

Responsibilities
- Assist in creating a safe, joyful, and faith-filled classroom environment
- Help plan and lead engaging activities, games, crafts, stories, and learning experiences
- Support children’s intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual growth
- Encourage kindness, creativity, curiosity, and Christ-like behavior
- Work directly with the Preschool Teacher to provide basic care and supervision throughout the school day
- Communicate positively with parents and coworkers regarding student progress and needs
- Observe student behavior and help guide children with patience and compassion
- Follow all school safety procedures and childcare regulations
Qualifications
- Experience in childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood settings preferred
- Understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
- A love for working with children and supporting their growth in the Catholic faith
- Patience, flexibility, positivity, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Drug-free and smoke-free workplace
- Background check required
Position Details
- Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:45am - 3:15pm | Fully benefited, including a 45% tuition discount at St. Elizabeth Seton Elementary & Preschool and St. Thomas More Middle & High School
- Part-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:45am - 11:30am
