Position: Lead Infant Teacher
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Summary:
We are seeking a warm, attentive, and reliable Infant Assistant Teacher to join our classroom team. The ideal candidate will assist the Lead Teacher in providing high-quality care and early learning experiences for infants, supporting their emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead Teacher in daily classroom activities, routines, and lesson plans
- Provide loving, attentive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and naptime supervision
- Observe and document infant progress, sharing notes with the team and families
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Foster positive relationships with children and families
- Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with infants
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for caring for young children
- We have “no cellphone” classrooms
