Job Summary
SPARK Development is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to help keep Novara, our newest residential community, clean, safe, and welcoming. This is a single-property role dedicated entirely to Novara, a 152-unit community in Ashwaubenon, which gives this team member full ownership of the property's cleanliness and a direct hand in shaping the resident experience.
*Living On-Site: On-site living at Novara is strongly preferred but not required. For the right candidate, discounted rent is included as part of the compensation, offering convenience, faster response to property needs, and a stronger day-to-day connection to the community.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Class A standards and ensure property is consistently show-ready
- Follow daily, weekly and periodic cleaning schedules
- Perform unit turnover cleaning ahead of move-ins
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wipe surfaces, and sanitize hallways and common areas (i.e. lobby, fitness center, mailroom, patio, elevators, stairwells).
- Prep and clean vacant model unit and available units between showings
- Empty trash and recycling throughout the property
- Maintain trash chute rooms
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies; order and maintain cleaning supplies as needed
- Interact with residents, guests and prospects courteously and professionally
- Identify and address cleanliness issues proactively
- Report issues and safety concerns to SPARK’s Maintenance team
- Follow company safety procedures
- Complete additional cleaning tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Custodial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required
- Comfortable using a smartphone for texting and emailing
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and good time management
- Must pass a criminal background check
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
