Administrative Assistant (Contract)

Summary:
This is a dynamic and high-impact administrative role supporting a senior leader within a fast-paced, high-visibility team focused on external affairs and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills, professional discretion, and a proactive mindset to support a General Manager and broader team in executing critical initiatives. From managing complex calendars and coordinating events to processing invoices and supporting community-focused programs, this role sits at the intersection of executive support and organizational operations. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, demonstrate sound judgment, and bring the composure and professionalism required to operate effectively at the highest levels of a large, global organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage the General Manager's calendar, including scheduling and prioritizing meetings across internal and external stakeholders
Process invoices and purchase orders, supporting the department's financial operations and procurement activities
Coordinate events and team meetings, including logistics, communications, and follow-up
Support the rollout of new employee engagement programs and community-focused initiatives
Manage procurement of goods and services, including office supplies, computer equipment, and vendor relationships
Serve as a key point of contact for the department, providing general office support and facilitating cross-team collaboration
Coordinate travel arrangements and process business expenses on behalf of senior leadership
Oversee facility operations and personnel operations support as needed
Complete special projects as assigned by senior leadership
Requirements:
5 to 7 years of experience in calendar management supporting senior leadership
5 to 7 years of experience in payments processing, including purchase orders and invoice management
5 to 7 years of experience in event planning and coordination
Demonstrated experience operating in a high-paced, professional executive office environment
Prior experience at a large technology or enterprise organization is highly preferred
Strong calendar management skills with the ability to handle complex, high-volume scheduling for senior executives
Proficiency in invoice and payment processing, including purchase order management
Demonstrated event planning and coordination capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of professionalism and discretion
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-visibility executive environment
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across teams and organizational levels
Sound judgment and composure when managing competing priorities and sensitive information
Knowledge of procurement and space management practices is highly preferred
Prior experience supporting senior leadership in a large, complex organization
Additional Details:
Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
Duration: 2 months
Pay Range*: $30 - $34 per hour
Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
Job Status: Non-Exempt
