Job Summary
Rocco’s Ristorante a fine Italian dining experience and we are seeking motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic Bartenders to join our family-owned establishment. As a Bartnder at Rocco’s, you will be the face of our restaurant: greeting and serving guests, preparing drinks while anticipating their needs, and contributing to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines our family heritage.
Responsibilities
- Open/Close restaurant bar with special attention to sanitation, cleanliness, and organization.
- Greet and seat guests with a friendly, family-oriented attitude, making them feel right at home.
- Craft alcoholic beverages promptly with impeccable attention to presentation and detail.
- Present menus and knowledgeably guide guests through food and beverage offerings.
- Accurately take orders and coordinate with the kitchen using systems such as Toast, ensuring each dish meets our fine dining standards.
- Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Proactively monitor guest satisfaction, addressing any questions, concerns, or special requests.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen/managers to ensure seamless, timely service.
- Maintain a pristine dining environment, including tables in bar area, along with bar top and bar back.
Experience & Qualifications
- 2 years previous experience bartending in a restaurant or food service environment is required.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables, while making alcoholic beverages, without compromising exceptional service.
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Hands on experience in cashier duties
- Familiarity with culinary terms, food preparation techniques, and fine dining etiquette is beneficial.
- Experience with restaurant management software (e.g., Toast, OpenTable) is a plus, but not mandatory.
