Litigation Paralegal
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Pittsburgh based law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of litigation experience and will provide high-level support to attorneys handling litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case initiation, discovery, pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities

Manage document collection, review, organization, and production (including e-discovery platforms)

Draft, edit, and finalize pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents

Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines; track statutes of limitations and court-imposed deadlines

Conduct legal research and gather factual information to support case strategy

Coordinate and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials (including exhibit binders, witness materials, and trial notebooks)

Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors as directed by attorneys

Perform other related duties as assigned to support the litigation team
Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of litigation paralegal experience (civil litigation preferred)

Strong working knowledge of Pennsylvania state court and federal court rules and procedures

Proficiency with e-discovery platforms, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
