Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the integrity of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy equipment, including tractor-trailers
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Plan and execute efficient routes for timely delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with no more than 2 violations within the past 3 years
- Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver with minimum 2 year's experience
- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation
- Ability to operate heavy equipment for loading and unloading purposes
- knowledge of temperature setting on reefer trailer
- Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance procedures is a plus
