No teaching certification is required. Candidates with at least 60 college credit hours are encouraged to apply.

As a Substitute Teacher, you will:

Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher
-
Lead classroom instruction and keep students engaged
-
Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment

Manage student behavior according to school policies
-
Take attendance and report any classroom concerns
-
Supervise students during lunch, recess, and hallway transitions
-
Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and school staff
Full-Day Assignments

Monday–Friday
-
Approximately 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Half-Day Assignments
-
Morning: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Hours may vary depending on the school's schedule.

High school diploma required

At least 18 years of age

Minimum of 60 college credit hours preferred
