Job Summary:
Up to $3,000 sign-on bonus!!! ARCON is currently seeking Collections Specialists to join our team of seasoned collections professionals in our facility in Woodbury! Experience preferred, but Arcon provides full, paid training for inexperienced, highly motivated individuals. In this role, you will be supported by leadership that has been successful in the industry for decades and know what it takes to help you succeed. We believe in hard work, having fun and paying above-market base and commission compensation to our team of top performers. We utilize best-in-class collection technology platforms and collect on inventory purchased directly from the largest US creditors. Our inventory is high-quality, fresh accounts with outstanding liquidation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward consumers
- Experience in negotiating payment arrangements and collecting payments
- Understanding of applicable Federal and State laws regarding debt collection
- Utilizing computer systems for account collections and contact information
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Proficient in PC and keyboarding skills
- Capacity to work independently as well as being a team player
- Assertive, clear and concise communication skills
- Ability to work within a regulated and structured work environment
- Integrity, attention to detail and confidentiality
Requirements:
- 1-3 years collection experience preferred
- Must meet requirements of company background check policy
- HS Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Available M-F (8am - 5:00pm; Shifts vary)
