Position Summary:
The Construction Operations Coordinator is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates in Construction Management or a related field who are interested in building a long-term career in the electrical construction industry.
Working directly with the Director of Contracts and Operational Procedures, this position provides exposure to every phase of a construction project—from preconstruction and contract execution through project administration, operations, and closeout. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn the business from the inside out while supporting company-wide operational initiatives.
Responsibilities :
Contracts & Project Administration
- Assist with preparing and organizing contracts and project documentation.
- Maintain contract files and document control.
- Track project documentation and required deliverables.
- Support contract revisions and change documentation.
Operational Procedures:
- Assist with developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Update company forms and operational documentation.
- Organize company policies and process manuals.
- Help improve internal workflows and documentation.
Project Coordination:
- Support project startup and closeout documentation.
- Coordinate information between operations, estimating, project management, accounting, and field teams.
- Track project milestones and administrative requirements.
- Assist with special operational initiatives.
Administrative Support:
- Prepare reports and presentations.
- Schedule meetings and coordinate department activities.
- Maintain organized electronic filing systems.
- Assist with company-wide operational projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Desire to build a long-term career in commercial or industrial construction.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
