This role ensures the security and accuracy of cash handling operations, provides exceptional guest service, and supports Cage management through clear communication and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Location: The Nash Casino - 310 Daniel Webster Highway - Nashua, NH
Hours: Full-time: Variable Hours (1st shift/swing shift/late night shift) with Weekends and Holiday's required
Job Responsibilities
- Process guest and company financial transactions accurately, following all regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain assigned bank balance and safeguard cage assets at all times.
- Conduct transaction verifications to prevent discrepancies and ensure procedural compliance.
- Perform currency exchanges, voucher redemptions, and other cash transactions with precision and attention to detail.
- Communicate operational details, issues, and updates clearly to Cage management each shift.
- Promptly notify management of any discrepancies, questionable activity, or irregularities.
- Provide training and support to other Team Members when requested by Cage management.
- Ensure full compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, company policies, and cash‑handling procedures.
- Uphold key control policies and maintain strict adherence to security measures.
- Provide BIG Service by engaging guests in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of cash‑handling or related experience required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must successfully pass all required pre‑screening and background checks.
- Internal candidates must have at least six months in current role and meet all Transfer & Promotion Policy requirements.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license.
Physical/Mental Working Demands
- Ability to move throughout the Cage and work areas for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to read, interpret, and enter information on computer systems and transaction terminals.
- Ability to work in environments with loud noise, guest chatter, overhead music, live entertainment, and where smoking is permitted.
- Requires hand–eye coordination and the ability to distinguish letters, symbols, and numbers.
