We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate is a "hunter" with a proven successful track record in B2B sales who is eager to grow a market and build a lasting client base. This role is crucial for identifying new business opportunities and establishing strong relationships with prospective clients to drive significant revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for full-cycle business development, including:
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through outside sales activities such as extensive cold calls and strategic prospecting.
- Client Research: Research potential clients and market trends to understand their needs and identify the best-fit solutions.
- Networking & Public Relations: Establish and maintain good public relations and networking within the community and industry to bring in new business.
- Sales & Appointments: Set and execute sales appointments with key decision-makers at prospective clients.
- Deal Negotiation: Deliver formal sales presentations, customize ideal strategic solutions, and confidently negotiate and close deals to meet and exceed monthly goals.
- Territory Planning: Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed established sales objectives within an assigned territory.
- Account Management: Collaborate with internal service staff to ensure new accounts sold align with service resources and client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of three years (3+) of professional experience in B2B sales is required, with a preference for outside sales.
- Track Record: Demonstrated proven successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing a market.
- Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage a sales funnel, and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to overcome client objections and close complex deals.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Computer Skills: CRM experience, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Google Suites
Pay: $70,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
