Overview
We are a growing company seeking a dedicated and skilled production workers in a chemical manufacturing environment. As a production worker, you will play a vital role in the assembly and blending of products, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the production process. The position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety rules, practices and protocols
- Operate chemical blending, mixing, and packaging equipment
- Safely operate forklifts as needed for material handling
- Adhere to quality standards while blending chemical components according to specifications
- Monitor blending process and report inconsistencies or issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues during production.
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized work areas in manufacturing facility
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic, reliability and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures for manufacturing
- Ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner
- Basic mechanical knowledge including experience with hand tools and power tools
- Experience in a manufacting facility or factory setting is preferred
- Familiarity with assembly line processes is also preferred
Pay: $19.00 - $29.00 per hour
