Position Summary:
Edko, LLC is seeking candidates with experience in vegetation management or a related
field. A background in forestry, arboriculture or a related field is beneficial but not
required. Personnel are expected to perform herbicide applications along right-of-ways
and road sides. Operators will plan, direct, and coordinate application efforts, and
interface with other personnel and customers.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Ability to interpret and follow maps
- Ability to use a laptop and handheld computers
- Valid Driver License with a clean driving record is required
- The ability to work independently for long hours and out of town with
extended overnight travel
- Vegetation management experience, tree knowledge and ID skills a Plus
