We are looking for Multifilament and Mono/Multi Extrusion Operators!
Key Responsibilities:
Multifilament Extrusion Operator:
- Start up, monitor, and shut down the extrusion machine.
- Doff and label the POY package.
- Clean the winder, extruder, and floor during machine running.
- Keep the logbook.
- Mount the packs and start up.
- Preparation of the chip and the bobbin.
- Monitor the chip flow.
- Troubleshoot.
Mono/Multi Extrusion Operator:
- Operate and monitor extrusion lines.
- Operate and monitor winders for good winds.
- Monitor process parameters; inform team leaders and/or technicians of problems.
- Monitor production, winding, and creeling to ensure quality.
- Clean spools and creels.
- Creel spools properly following creeling pattern.
- Keep extruders and work area clean and organized.
- Perform every aspect of the job duties following safety rules and policies.
- Keep proper records.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by team leaders and technicians.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED or two years of manufacturing experience.
- Proficient in writing, reading, speaking, and understanding English.
- Ability to add, multiply, subtract, and divide.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with engineers and technicians.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
