Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Bilingual Gold Buyer - Customer Service Agent to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face and trusted advisor for customers looking to sell their gold and jewelry, providing exceptional service while accurately assessing items and facilitating transactions. Your enthusiasm for customer engagement, combined with your knowledge of retail operations, will help create a positive experience that encourages repeat business. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, establishing a welcoming environment for all visitors seeking to sell their gold or jewelry items
- Conduct thorough product demos and evaluations of gold, jewelry, and related items using POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accurate pricing and transactions
- Assist customers with their inquiries via phone and in-person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Perform basic math calculations for weighing, pricing, and cash handling to ensure precise transactions
- Upsell additional services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and store sales
- Ensure compliance with procedures, including cash handling, and documenting transactions accurately
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles, preferably within a grocery store or jewelry retail environment
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math concepts
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage english & spanish speaking customers effectively
- Knowledge of jewelry appraisal is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and pricing purposes
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
