Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This vital role involves maintaining the physical infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing preventative maintenance strategies to enhance guest comfort and safety. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess a strong technical background to support our commitment to excellence in hospitality.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and other building systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, schematics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and use of tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct tasks as needed for repairs or upgrades within the hotel premises.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and facility diagrams to accurately diagnose problems.
- Small projects related to manufacturing or renovation efforts within the hotel environment with a focus on customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or hotel engineering roles with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical experience, welding techniques, and residential painting.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on skills in troubleshooting complex systems.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and guests effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on safety, quality control, and customer service orientation.
- Experience working within manufacturing environments or large-scale facilities is a plus.
