Petite Maison Kids is seeking a Part Time 3 shifts a week experienced and highly driven Retails Sales Associate to join a successful fast growing children's luxury clothing brand at our first retail location. We aim to create high-quality experiences for our customers while building a strong, loyal clientele base.
Includes 2 weekdays and 1 weekend shift per week.
The position is in person at our retail location on 71 Greenwich Ave in Greenwich CT and includes:
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Achieve/exceed individual and store sales goals ,enhancing and developing the business.
Develop strong relationships with clients.
Provide exceptional customer service in person, chat, and over the phone.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key holder following opening and closing procedures.
Package and ship store orders .
Visual Merchandising with exquisite attention to detail.
Anticipate the needs and the organization of shop floor and stockroom. Coordinate the replenishment of the sales floor. Responding to store requests for sizes and/or product.
Assist with customer orders in store, phone, chat, as well as creating draft orders and shipping out orders placed in store.
Prepare store pickup orders, assist with store credit and in person returns using POS system.
Ensure shipment of customer orders placed in store in a timely manner and following quality standards.
Inventory management including inventory count.
Creating barcodes for products and tagging/ pricing products.
Enter new store products into Shopify system.
Assist with and help organize store events and in store photoshoots.
Assist with social media content creation.
Helps to improve sales performance by listening to customer feedback and taking initiative to improve customer experience.
Ability to execute and adapt to new company initiatives.
Receive, unpack, enter into system, and organize new merchandise in store.
Follow safety, health, and security rules.
Maintain store cleanliness and dispose of garbage in designated area.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Assist with Instagram Live Sales.
Role Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a retail store.
- Strong customer service, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of children's fashion is a plus.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Computer Knowledge: Shopify, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Acrobat.
- Eloquent both in speech and writing skills.
- Strong organization and results based approach.
- Team player and takes initiative. Good at listening and following instructions.
- Excellent analyzing, prioritizing, and follow up skills. Detail oriented.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Approachable and open to foster constructive communication to contribute to a positive working environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Drive to our Port Chester, NY Warehouse location as needed.
- Lift up to 30 lbs.
- Mobility including stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and moving items.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
