Job Overview
Join our team as a Retail Store Associate, providing friendly customer service while keeping the store organized, stocked, and welcoming. Responsibilities include assisting customers, handling transactions, merchandising, and maintaining the sales floor. Schedule & Compensation:
12-hour shifts, minimum 5 days/week, with applicable overtime pay. Eligible for an increase to $20/hr after a successful 6-month performance review.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service
- Assist with product questions, recommendations, and sales
- Accurately operate the POS system and handle cash transactions
- Stock, organize, and maintain merchandise and displays
- Develop product knowledge to confidently assist customers
- Answer phone inquiries professionally
- Maintain daily store cleanliness, including dusting, sweeping, and wiping surfaces
Qualifications
- Retail or cashier experience preferred, but willingness to learn is essential
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic Spanish preferred but not required; willingness to communicate with Spanish-speaking customers and learn basic numbers/retail phrases
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math is a plus
- Comfortable stocking merchandise, maintaining displays, and learning product information
- Reliable, friendly, professional, and confident interacting with customers
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
