Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum separation of 18 months is required

RTO is capped at 5 days maximum if the time off does not fall on or near a holiday, and 3 days maximum if it does fall on or near a holiday

Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract

RTO requests during the holiday period must be spread out and will not be approved if consecutive days are clustered (e.g., multiple days in a row around the holidays)
