At Wycliffe Bible Translators, your work is more than just a job. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you’ll be responsible for guiding the online giving experience and the user donor journey through strategic digital fundraising to inspire generosity.
Your contributions will play a pivotal role in shaping the online giving experience and donor journey at Wycliffe. Through the strategic use of digital channels, you will develop and execute online fundraising campaigns that inspire generosity, increase donor engagement and drive measurable results, helping advance Wycliffe's digital fundraising strategy and deepen donor engagement in support of Bible translation.
You’ll partner with Marketing leadership and other team members to:
- Craft a narrative that tells the exciting story of Bible translation with excellence.
- Expand awareness by reaching new audiences unfamiliar with Bible translation.
- Inspire engagement through exceptional content and digital experiences.
- Develop a digitally connected journey for those already engaged in Bible translation.
Job Description
Overview of Marketing
The mission of Wycliffe’s Marketing department is to tell the powerful story of what God is doing through Bible translation and to invite people and churches to participate in this transformative work. Through content and experiences that delight, inspire and engage, we will communicate the life-changing impact of Bible translation. Our goal is to "wow" every audience at every touchpoint by showcasing the work that God is doing throughout the world.
We will always include clear calls to action — pray, give, join and advocate — ensuring that each interaction leads to meaningful next steps in this journey. As we expand our reach to younger, more diverse audiences, we remain committed to generously sharing our knowledge and resources to further Kingdom work, keeping our eyes on the future described in Revelation 7:9.
Responsibilities
You’ll make an impact as you:
Faithfully and regularly pray for the ongoing work of Bible translation and for people from around the world to experience transformation.
Act as an organizational representative presenting the global ministry of Wycliffe and encouraging interested individuals, organizations and churches to participate in the work of Bible translation.
Work alongside the Director of Sustained Giving and other team members to:
Create copy and wireframes and assist in WordPress builds, as needed, to launch campaigns. Campaigns will include initiatives such as lead generation, the Wycliffe Prayer Community, church partnerships, the gift catalog, appeals and digital giving days, as well as always-on involvement opportunities throughout wycliffe.org.
Execute WordPress pages using the Elementor builder.
Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) to track and report on campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
Create copy for multichannel direct mail and digital fundraising and advocacy pieces with emphasis on user experience. Including FrontLines, gift catalog, direct mail letters, stewardship reports and Wycliffe Foundation pieces.
Work with the content, design, video, social and email teams to align fundraising efforts with organizational content, branding and voice.
Stay current in nonprofit fundraising and marketing best practices, search engine optimization (SEO) trends, and writing and editing practices for appropriate voice and AP Style.
Stay current on the latest developments in web technologies, marketing tools and analytics platforms.
Experiment with new tools and techniques, including AI, to continuously enhance our marketing efforts.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Sustained Giving.
Other Requirements:
Must have a strong, reliable internet and phone connection and be based in the U.S.
Ability to travel domestically 2-4 times per year to Orlando, Florida.

Technical Skills: Solid understanding of WordPress, Google Analytics 4, SEM Rush and other analytics tools. Base-level training in WordPress and common builders. Comfortable working in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Mail, Calendar).
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field plus at least two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Ministry and/or nonprofit experience preferred.

Compensation
The hiring pay range for this position is $26.21 - $29.67. The range for this position is based upon and considers Wycliffe’s non-profit ministry environment. Actual pay rate may be higher based on various factors such as qualifications, skills and experience, required training, licensure and/or certifications, budget and allocation, if applicable.
